ENROUTE® Program

What is included in ENROUTE?

ENROUTE includes the following items:

  1. ENROUTE Build: 56 servings (2 weeks before & 2 weeks after surgery) of our multi-nutrient formula. Available as dairy- or plant-based versions, and in French Vanilla or Dark Chocolate flavors.
  2. ENROUTE Prepare: 2 servings (evening before surgery) of our complex carbohydrate formula.
  3. Smartshake™ Shaker Bottle: With patented honeycomb technology for convenient mixing and consumption.
  4. Education Booklet: A simple guide to walk you through the program.
When should I drink ENROUTE Build and ENROUTE Prepare?
  • Drink 2 servings of ENROUTE Build daily for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your surgery date.
  • Drink 2 servings of ENROUTE Prepare on the evening before your surgery date.

ENROUTE Build:

Starting 2 weeks before your surgery date, drink ENROUTE Build 2 times daily. For 2 weeks after your surgery date, continue taking ENROUTE Build 2 times daily. If your surgery date is less than 2 weeks away, see below FAQ.

Note:

  • Drink ENROUTE Build between your regular meals
  • ENROUTE Build is not a meal replacement; we recommend taking the first serving after breakfast, and the second serving after lunch
  • For best results, consider taking ENROUTE Build after physical exercise

ENROUTE Prepare:

On the evening before your surgery, drink 2 servings of ENROUTE Prepare within 2-3 hours (e.g., drink one serving of ENROUTE Prepare at 6 pm and the second serving at 8 pm) or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Can I participate if my surgery is less than 2 weeks away?

Yes. If your surgery date is less than 2 weeks away, we recommend starting ENROUTE as soon as possible. Drink the servings missed before your surgery during the recovery period after surgery. Do not double the servings to catch up before your surgery.  

For example: If your surgery is in 7 days, drink ENROUTE for 7 days before and 21 days after surgery (instead of the standard 14 days before and 14 days after surgery).

Do I drink both ENROUTE Build and ENROUTE Prepare on the day before my surgery?

Yes. On the day before your surgery, drink 2 servings of ENROUTE Build and 2 servings of ENROUTE Prepare (4 servings total).

Here is a proposed schedule on the day before your surgery:

  • After breakfast, drink one serving of ENROUTE Build
  • After lunch, drink the second serving of ENROUTE Build
  • At 6 pm, drink one serving of ENROUTE Prepare
  • At 8 pm, drink the second serving of ENROUTE Prepare

Note: On the evening before your surgery, drink both servings of ENROUTE Prepare within 2-3 hours or as directed by your healthcare professional.

How do I mix each product?

ENROUTE Build:

  1. Pour your liquid of choice (water, milk, milk alternative) into the shaker bottle up to the 8.5 fl. oz. (250 mL) mark
  2. Add 1 serving into the shaker bottle
  3. Close the lid and shake thoroughly
  4. Consume immediately

Note: ENROUTE Build can be mixed into a variety recipes without affecting its performance. Get creative and add it to your favorite smoothie recipe or blend it with ice for a frozen treat!

ENROUTE Prepare:

  1. Pour water into the shaker bottle up to the 13.5 fl. oz. (400 mL) mark
  2. Add 1 package into the shaker bottle
  3. Close the lid and shake thoroughly
  4. Consume immediately

Note: Only mix ENROUTE Prepare into water (do not mix into milk, milk alternatives, etc.).

Can I mix ENROUTE Build with warm liquids?

Yes. It is safe to mix ENROUTE Build in warm liquids; however, it may form lumps if the liquid is too hot.

Can I use ENROUTE as a meal replacement?

No. ENROUTE is not recommended as a sole source of nutrition or meal replacement and is best used to supplement a well-balanced diet.

Is ENROUTE sweetened?

ENROUTE Build is lightly sweetened with 7 grams of organic coconut sugar, which has a low glycemic index and is minimally processed.

ENROUTE Prepare contains no added sugar.

Can ENROUTE lead to weight gain?

Weight gain is dependent on several factors, including diet and activity level. ENROUTE is a 4-week surgical nutrition program and should not cause significant fluctuations in weight when incorporated into a healthy, well-balanced diet. ENROUTE has been shown to increase muscle mass, which is beneficial when recovering from surgery.

What flavors are available?

ENROUTE is available in 2 delicious flavors: French Vanilla and Dark Chocolate.

Is there a plant-based protein version available?

Yes! We are excited to announce that a plant-based version of ENROUTE is now available. To purchase this, select “Plant-Based” under “Choose Your Protein” before adding it to your cart.

Can I select multiple protein sources and flavors for my ENROUTE order?

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to fulfill requests for multiple flavors. Each order comes in one protein source (Dairy- or Plant-based) and one flavor (French Vanilla or Dark Chocolate).

How much protein does ENROUTE Build contain?

One serving of ENROUTE Build contains 26 grams of protein.

What nutritional benefits does ENROUTE Build offer?

Each serving of ENROUTE Build supplies 26 grams of leucine-rich protein isolate, along with Creatine, Calcium, & Vitamin D, to support muscle health and promote healing after surgery, a vital component for tissue repair and immune system support.

ENROUTE Build serves a dual purpose:

  • When taken 2 weeks before surgery, it provides essential nutrition required for pre-surgery preparation
  • When taken 2 weeks after surgery, it helps with faster and improved recovery
Does ENROUTE Build replace the vitamins I am currently taking?

No, ENROUTE Build is not a replacement for your current vitamins; however, the Calcium and Vitamin D content in ENROUTE Build can help you meet a portion of your daily needs, depending on your age and gender. Each serving of ENROUTE Build contains 225 mg of Calcium and 12.5 mcg (500 IU) of Vitamin D.

It's important to note that individual dietary requirements may vary based on factors like age, gender, and overall health. Therefore, it's advisable to consider these factors and consult a healthcare professional to determine your specific dietary needs and whether ENROUTE is suitable for your dietary goals.

In the United States, the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for Calcium and Vitamin D is based on information provided by the National Academy of Medicine (formerly known as the Institute of Medicine). Please refer to this website for the most up-to-date information.

Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for Calcium (for non-pregnant and non-lactating adults):

  • Adults 19-50 years (male & female): 1,000 mg
  • Adults 51-70 years (male): 1,000 mg
  • Adults 51-70 years (female): 1,200 mg
  • Adults 71 years and older (male & female): 1,200 mg

Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for Vitamin D (for non-pregnant and non-lactating adults):

  • Adults 19-50 years (male & female): 15 mcg (600 IU)
  • Adults 51-70 years (male & female): 15 mcg (600 IU)
  • Adults 71 years and older (male & female): 20 mcg (800 IU)
How much carbohydrate does ENROUTE Prepare contain?

One serving of ENROUTE Prepare contains 50 grams of complex carbohydrates.

What is the carbohydrate source in ENROUTE Prepare?

ENROUTE Prepare contains corn maltodextrin, a complex carbohydrate that offers sustained energy and support after surgery.

Are there any added sugars in ENROUTE Prepare?

No, ENROUTE Prepare does not contain added sugars. We use natural ingredients in the formulation to provide the necessary carbohydrates without relying on added sugars.

Contraindications & Allergens

Can I use ENROUTE if I have diabetes?

If you have Type 1 Diabetes: ENROUTE is not recommended.

If you have Type 2 Diabetes: ENROUTE may be suitable for people with well-controlled
type 2 diabetes. Please consult your healthcare professional before incorporating ENROUTE into your diet to ensure it aligns with your specific needs and recommendations.

Can I use ENROUTE if I have kidney disease?

ENROUTE is suitable for most people with early-stage Chronic Kidney Disease; however, use ENROUTE with caution if you have been instructed to limit your daily protein intake. Please consult your healthcare professional before incorporating ENROUTE into your diet to ensure it aligns with your specific needs and recommendations.

Can I use ENROUTE if I am taking medications?

Yes, individuals taking prescribed medications can use ENROUTE. However, if you have any concerns or specific questions about potential interactions with your medications, please consult with your healthcare professional for personalized advice.

Does ENROUTE cause digestive issues like diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation?

ENROUTE is generally well-tolerated and should not cause digestive issues. If you experience digestive discomfort while taking ENROUTE Build, please contact us for assistance. If symptoms persist, we recommend discontinuing use and consulting your healthcare professional.

What are the contraindications of using ENROUTE?

If you have any of the conditions listed below, it is recommended to refrain from using the product.

  • ENROUTE Build: Chronic Kidney Disease

What allergens are in ENROUTE?

Shipping and Logistics

What is the estimated duration for shipping my order?

Shipping timeline may vary from 1-5 business days depending where your delivery address is. Please refer to our shipping policy for shipping and delivery estimates.

We also have options for expedited delivery at an additional cost.

When will my order be processed/shipped?
  • Orders placed before 12:30 pm EST on a business day will be shipped out on the same day.
  • Orders placed after 12:30 pm EST will be shipped out the next business day.
  • Orders placed over the weekend or on holidays will be fulfilled on the next business day.
What should I do if my order status shows as"delivered," but I have not yet received it?

If your order status indicates that it has been delivered, but you haven't received it, we recommend taking the following steps:

  • Verify the delivery address: Double-check the shipping address associated with your order to ensure it is accurate and up to date. Sometimes, packages may be delivered to a neighbor or held at a local post office or delivery center.
  • Check with household members or neighbors: Inquire with family members or neighbors if they may have accepted the package on your behalf. It's possible that someone else received the delivery without notifying you.
  • Contact the carrier: Reach out to the shipping carrier responsible for the delivery (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) and provide them with your tracking number. We recommend addressing the issue promptly, as there may be specific timeframes within which you can report undelivered packages.

How do I initiate a return?

Some clinics offer an option to purchase the product at their clinic/durable medical equipment (DME) store. If you purchased the product from the clinic/DME, please contact the clinic/DME for their return policy.

Can I return an item without the original packaging?

While we encourage customers to return items in their original packaging whenever possible, we understand that it may not always be feasible. As long as the item is in its original condition and meets our return policy criteria, we will accept the return even without the original packaging.

Do I need to pay for return shipping?

No, you do not need to pay for return shipping. We offer free return shipping, regardless of the reason for the return. Whether it's due to our error, a defective product, or a change of mind, you won't incur any charges for the return process. We provide a hassle-free experience for our customers and will cover the return shipping cost as our commitment to excellent service.

Can I exchange ENROUTE for a different flavor instead of returning it?

Yes, you can exchange ENROUTE for a different flavor. If you prefer a different flavor option, please contact our customer service team, and they will assist you with the exchange process. We want to ensure you are satisfied with the experience, and hence we're happy to accommodate flavor exchanges whenever possible.

What if my item arrives damaged or defective?

While this is extremely unlikely to happen, if you receive a damaged or defective product, we will ensure that we make it right. We recommend contacting our customer service team immediately upon receiving the item, and they will assist you in resolving the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair, or refund for the damaged or defective item.

We also have a third-party payment options (Buy Now, Pay Later) including Sezzle and Afterpay, which allow you to divide the total amount into interest-free installments.
