I first heard about this product from our doctor and decided to give it a try, opting for the dairy-based French Vanilla to support the preparation and recovery for my knee replacement surgery. As this is my first experience with protein supplements, I was very surprised by how delicious the drink is. I also love the versatility of the flavor—it’s so easy to add into smoothies and oatmeals. In fact, I’ve even customized it by adding it to orange iced tea, which turned out to be the perfect balance of taste. I like ENROUTE® better than the other product I've tried before. It was very tasty and easy to make. I only had it with water and it was GREAT! I got the Dark Chocolate flavor. My surgery went well and didn't have any problems. As someone who doesn't feel hungry, I was really happy to have the drink because I did not have to worry too much about getting not enough protein when preparing for surgery. The prepare drink I took the night before worked very well. I didn't feel hungry or thirsty and felt comfortable going into surgery. It was good!
